This is an open-source OS with hundres of free software titles included. This OS also has much less problems with viruses, so you can save time and money on anit-virus software as well.
This laptop is based on Linux. There are many versions of Linux and some version will work with certain computers and some of them won't. If you try to install yourself, then it might not work properly. However, if you purchase from us, we guarantee it will work with the hardware that is included.
Please be aware that Linux will not allow the playing of certain copy-protected DVDs. The software included with Linux is all free-of-charge once you have the laptop.
